I know right, we are all living an extremely unhealthy hectic lifestyle, sometimes we don't even have enough time to sleep, 3 hours of relaxation in a spa or beauty salon is just like something that is out of reach. But still, we need to squeeze some times out of our packed schedule once in a while to comfort ourselves a little bit, to relax ourselves mentally and physically.
March is such a busy month for me, my schedule is packed with classes and jobs, but luckily I get to visit Eve Beauty this Tuesday to try their Hydra Plus Facial. All their facial packages come together with steam bath and jacuzzi, how amazing!
First, 15 minutes of steam bath! It's something like sauna, but the temperature is not as hot as sauna. Steam bath helps to increase our blood circulation, relax our muscles and improve our complexion, also it helps to reduce stress, good for people like me who lives in a stressful city. A cup of fruit tea is prepared for me to make me feel more like a Shao Nai Nai, hahaha just kidding, fruit tea is good for our health.
Next, 15 minutes of Jacuzzi! Busy people like me don't even have time to lie in a bath tub even though I have a bath tub at home. Jacuzzi is like an advance version of bath tub, it has the same benefits as steam bath, the high-pressure hydro massage can be an effective way to relax your stiff muscles. Jane, my beauty therapist also added in some essential oils that help me to feel more relaxed. It's so good to relax my mind and take a short nap in the Jacuzzi, I feel so refreshing after.
Last but not least, the Hydra Plus Facial. It helps to boot up the hydration level of our skin, improves the appearance of time lines, and radiant our skin immediately. All the products that Jane used on my skin are from Dermalogica. During the application of this Colloidal Masque, Jane used this ultrasound machine to gently massage all over my face, so that the mask that she applied can be absorb by my skin more effectively and deeper into the skin.
Not only I feel extremely relaxing and refreshing after the facial, my skin is very moisturising as well. Still remember that I had my nails done at Cool Nails about one month ago? Above was the condition of my nails after a month, it was pretty amazing because they were still in very good condition except for my right index finger, the pearl dropped because I was too rude and careless while opening the cover of a container. I still did a lot of washing and being careless like usual after I got my gel nails done a month ago, amazingly the gel did not peel off and my nails did not break at all even they have grown 2mm longer, I can't tell how happy I am looking at my finally-grown-long finger nails.
As you know, I'm a perfectionist, if wasn't the pearl on my right index finger dropped and left a rough surface on my nails, I think I will still keep them for one more month. Therefore, I visited Cool Nails yesterday to get them removed and do a new gel nail art.
From my past experience, manicurist will remove everything and do another gel nail art all over again, but Cool Nails didn't. My manicurist, Hannee only remove the gel nail art and keep the base coat that used to strengthen my nails as it can still be reuse for my 2nd gel nail art. Unless you do not want to do gel nail art anymore, then they will remove everything for you.
This is the gel nail art Hannee did for me this time, deeply in love with it! I told Hannee that I still wanted marble for the nail art and she mix and match other designs for me, all looks so perfect together! The marble Hannee did for me this time is different, it was done in 3 different layers using brush and airbrush so that it looks like real marble, love it so so much!

This is what I always say every time when I look at my fingernails. They are always short, I have to keep them short because they break very easily especially every time after I did some washing. My fingernails born to be very thin and weak, it is really hard to keep them long as they tend to split into 2 layers or break.

Cool Nails is the biggest nail salon I've ever visited in my life, it is so spacious and cozy. Every corner of the salon was decorated by pretty nail art samples and award winning certificates, it makes me feel so confident with their services.
I told them about my nails problem, and they recommended me to try their gel manicure. I was so worried because as I know, gel manicure tends to make fingernails even thinner and weaker, but my manicurist Hannee told me that the way they do gel manicure is different with others.
First of all, they didn't polish my nails into rough surfaces as what other manicurists do, because that will make our fingernails thinner and weaker. Hannee just gently buffed all surface shine from the nails with a fine buffer. Before putting on the gel nail art, there is one more extra step Hannee did for me to prevent my nails from breaking easily so that my gel nails can last longer. She applied 2 layers of base coat to protect and strengthen my nails, after the application of the base coat, my nails can't even be bend like they usually do, awesome!
As for the nail art, I showed them some references of what I wanted, and they tried their very best to achieve it. Look at the outcome, I'm so so so in love with my fingernails now!
